I received a call from a woman named Sonia, claiming to be with O2. She mentioned something about a 30% discount. I thought better of it and ended the conversation, as it was obviously a scam.

This guy called me with a thick Asian accent trying to talk me into signing up for some O2 phone deal. When I started asking questions and pushed back, he just cut me off and ended the call straight away.

Once more, I received a call from an Indian woman claiming to be from Amazon. Oddly enough, she couldn’t provide me with my name or my location-she didn’t even come close to pinpointing where I reside in the UK! I decided enough was enough and confronted her, telling her outright that I knew she was up to no good. That was the moment she ended the call. Just a word of caution: tread carefully! You could either have a laugh and lead her on for a while, or simply ignore the call altogether. To be honest, the only reason I picked up was due to my car's auto-answer feature-I simply wasn’t quick enough to disconnect.
