Absolutely a scam, without a shadow of a doubt! They rang up my dad, claiming to provide advice on pensions. They were incredibly rude and quite aggressive in their approach. Their tactic was to try and coax my father into revealing his FCA reference number, but thankfully, he saw right through it and didn’t fall for their nonsense.

Pension advice scam alert! Definitely steer well clear of these lot, they’re just out to nick your pension cash. When I asked for their FCA licence details, they just ended the call straightaway. Proper dodgy.
