This is definitely a con! If you get scam calls, text the number and info to 7726. When loads of people report the same number, your mobile provider will flag it with a scam alert. Don’t send actual, legit numbers to 7726 though. You should also forward any dodgy texts to 7726 and email a screenshot to the police at '[email protected]' so they can look into it.

Spoke to a really nice guy with a Scouse accent. He was going on about some Government funding for insulating lofts and windows. If the Government was actually bringing back something like that, I’d have thought it’d be all over the telly or the news by now. Seems a bit fishy to me.

This number looks dodgy to me, but I didn’t pick up to check. Loads of scammers call just to see if your number is live. It showed up as being from Liverpool, but I’ve got no connection to Liverpool at all, so I’m thinking it’s probably best to ignore it.
