10 yearsIn response to Sharon Jeffery, I just wanted to share that we've received numerous calls as well. We reported it to Trading Standards and chose not to engage with Abingdon House. Luckily, they seem to have backed off for the time being. Just a word of advice: as long as you haven't made any purchases, there’s no reason to feel obligated to pay them. If you find yourself uncertain, don't hesitate to request copies of any transaction records and evidence of their advertising when they do call. I hope this is of assistance to you!Sharon JefferyTrading StandardsAbingdon House10 yearsI must admit, I occasionally misinterpret things. So, if you happen to encounter any issues with your order that you’d prefer to chat about, do feel free to drop me a bell at 0151 707 1647. Alternatively, you can shoot me an email at [email protected], and rest assured, one of our team members will get back to you as soon as they can.couk10 yearsThere could be a multitude of reasons prompting you to reconsider your purchase, and that’s perfectly understandable. Just so you know, we offer a comprehensive cooling-off period of 7 days for all our transactions. Should you decide to cancel, you can do so via letter, fax, or email, as long as it’s within that specified 7-day timeframe from when your order was made. However, please bear in mind that I cannot process cancellations over the phone, due to the inability to confirm identities securely.11 yearsI managed to trick my receptionist into believing that I’d previously worked with these folks. He ended up consenting to send a dummy advertisement over to the manager for review, as they claimed it was meant for a police magazine. Once that was sent off, however, things went silent-just as others have said. Now they're hounding me for payment, even though I never consented to any ad in the first place. Steer clear of these guys at all costs!Steer11 yearsThe SafeGuard brochure measured A4 and comprised 72 pages, boasting a smooth, glossy presentation. I am committed to crafting an advertisement for your business that will exceed your expectations. Should you need any changes, I'll be happy to make those adjustments at no additional cost. If you already have an advertisement ready, just let me know, and I can take care of publishing it for you.12 yearsBlimey! So, these folks gave us a ring, and we initially said yes to whatever it was. But honestly, once that leaflet landed on our doormat, it was a whole different story-definitely not impressed, I tell ya! We promptly let them know we weren’t interested anymore, yet they insist on calling us over and over again, even after we’ve cancelled. What on earth should we do about this?12 yearsI've been receiving oodles of calls from this number associated with 'ABINGDON HOUSE.' It seems the moment we mentioned it to a rather dim-witted Scouser, they suggested we might want to inquire about an advert that is apparently linked with the local constabulary. Quite the nonsense, I must say! These callers are nothing but tricksters. I strongly advise you to hang up as soon as you see this number pop up! They're constantly ringing us, attempting to prod us into signing up for their dubious leaflet. Believe me, it’s all a ruse!12 yearsIn line with the distance selling regulations, the details of your order will be included in the confirmation package you receive. This will encompass details about the advertisement, the publication, the distribution, as well as the terms and conditions. Just like with any order or contract, it's essential to thoroughly examine all the documents provided and ensure you understand everything.
