We've had a right nuisance with these folks, who hang up promptly after four attempts, just as we’re about to pick up the phone.

Someone was going on about crafting a pamphlet related to weaponry and violence for the police and fire departments. We stepped in to clarify that as a start-up, we simply couldn’t spare any funds for sponsorship. It was a bit of a shock, honestly, to see that the number wasn't hidden. I can't shake the feeling that this might be a scam, especially since I received a similar call not long ago regarding educational materials, which I suspect was also a dodgy scheme.

They’re offering to distribute 150,000 copies across our area, targeting both businesses and homes, which raises our eyebrows a bit.
