Got a call where they asked for me by my first name, which was right. I heard a lot of background noise - sounded like a call centre for sure. I just hung up without saying anything. They called back straight away and when I picked up a voice said, “Welcome to the football pools, please wait on the line.” I ended it again and blocked the number. Seems like just another dodgy sales scam to me.

Got a call on our landline from this number, a woman asking for me. She claimed we'd chatted a couple of days back, which isn't right as I wasn't even home then. She then jabbered about some company running pools back in the 80s, but I reckon that was ages before then. She wanted to hook me up to get into these pools but asked for my bank info. I told her no thanks, and she sounded pretty annoyed before I ended the call. Just a heads-up to everyone, be careful with calls like this!
