I get calls about pools every week now. I've decided to start a little mission to track these jerks down and stop them for good. I'm guessing it's some third party that takes cookies from sites like yours and that's how they find us. Sent them a virus recently, so hopefully they’ll be quiet for a bit.

Even with all the covid 19 stuff going on, they still won't leave you alone. Next time they ring, just say you're at the cops and pass them over to the police, see how they like that.

Got a call saying it was about football pools and they wanted to give me two weeks free. They asked for my bank sort code, account number and full name, saying they'd use it to pay out winnings. Then after the free period they'd set up a direct debit. I wasn't sure if it was legit. When I asked, they told me to google the number and it would show as football[###] or something similar. Honestly, I've never had a call like this before and it left me feeling a bit iffy.
