I got calls about some dodgy charges - something about £300 on Amazon and another £1000 sent abroad. They wanted me to press 1 to confirm it or whatever. Honestly, I'm just gonna report it through "police.uk" like someone suggested here. It’s crazy that with all the tech we have now - I mean, they say you can even land a plane using a phone - yet these annoying calls just keep happening. I didn't even bother looking at my bank account after that. Phone companies should really do something about this.

BEWARE of scams! If you get these calls, make sure to REPORT them. Just google ‘action fraud’ and visit the ‘police.uk’ website. There’s a section called ‘report a phishing attempt’ - take a proper look at all the info there first. After that, submit the details of the scam right into the police’s system. This is how they track just how widespread these fraud attempts really are. Don’t just ignore it!

So I got a call at 6:51 in the morning and it actually woke me up. The woman on the other end started talking about my broadband. Got a call from someone saying they were from my bank's security, telling me about some dodgy charges on my card for £1300 and £300, which apparently I wouldn't usually spend. They wanted me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to chat to their advisor. Proper rubbish, don’t fall for it!

This morning around 9am I got a call from 01515289534. The person said they were from my bank’s security team and told me there were dodgy transactions: some £300 spent on Amazon and over £1,300 sent abroad. I tried calling back from another phone and just got cut off straight away.

Got a call saying I’d been charged £300 on Amazon and there was a £1000 international transfer too, then they told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to someone. It was so clearly a scam but it freaked out my elderly mum and dad who thought it was real. Something definitely needs to be done to crack down on these scammers and bring them to justice.

I got a voicemail on my answerphone from someone saying they were from bank security. They said there were some suspicious purchases on my account. Honestly, I’m glad they got in touch, cause in the past I ignored real calls from my credit card company about fraud, thinking they were dodgy. I’ve been caught out by scammers before, so it’s tricky to know who’s legit!

Got a robocall from some 'Bank Security Team' - didn’t catch which bank though. They said my card had been used for two dodgy transactions: £300 on Amazon and £1100 elsewhere. Was told to press 1 if it was legit or 2 to talk to a real person. Seriously? I’m not daft! After that, it went quiet for a bit, probably because they figured I wasn’t falling for it and the battery or minutes were dying down.

Got a call from 01515289534 with some robotic voice saying there was a purchase made on Amazon and other places, talking about amounts between £1,000 and £3,000. They offered options to speak to a person, but don’t fall for it! Just end the call and check your bank using your usual methods to make sure everything’s alright. Never share any personal info or bank details over the phone. If you’re worried, ring your bank straight away yourself.
