11 yearsI nearly got caught out by these people, they were so pushy about giving me a loan without making me go through any official paperwork. Eventually, they did send me some documents which seemed legit, and they sounded quite courteous on the phone. But then they asked for an upfront fee and alarms were ringing in my head saying this had to be dodgy. I wasn't totally convinced at first, but after reading loads of reviews here, I’m glad I trusted my gut and didn’t hand over any cash! - caller: 0151 528 449511 yearsYesterday, I got scammed out of £50. I tried calling David back but the phone’s just switched off. It’s seriously awful!David11 yearsGot roped into a dodgy scam where someone offered me a loan and I ended up sending £210 altogether, first £110 through PayPoint to someone called Patrick Thomson, then another £100 after that. They kept pestering me daily for more cash until I finally clocked it was all fake. Got in touch with the real Quick Quid straight away and they told me they never ask for any fees upfront for loans. Then I rang the scammer back, told him I knew it was a con and warned about contacting the police to trace the calls. Apparently, a Kevin Marshall was involved as well.
