I was nearly taken in by these folks but, fortunately, I didn’t part with a single penny. They were exceedingly keen to offer me a loan with no documentation at all. Later on, I did receive some paperwork from them which seemed fairly legitimate, and the representatives were quite courteous. However, the fact that they insisted on an upfront payment gave me pause; something about it screamed scam. Although I still felt a bit uncertain, after perusing numerous comments on this site, I’m relieved my gut feeling was spot on! - caller: 0151 528 4495

I was absolutely fleeced of £50 yesterday. When I attempted to call back, the phone was switched off. It's beyond frustrating - the caller goes by the name of David.

I've had my fair share of run-ins with dodgy cons, but this one takes the biscuit. A bloke named Patrick Thomson reached out, touting a loan offer, and I ended up parting with £110 at a PayPoint followed by another £100 on their insistence. In total, I was down £210, and each day they'd hound me for more cash. It wasn’t until I rang the genuine Quick Quid that I realised I’d been well and truly duped-they confirmed that no legitimate loan service would ever request an upfront payment. When I confronted dear Patrick, warning him I’d involve the police to track them down, he didn’t take it well. I also discovered that a Kevin Marshall was tangled up in this scam too. What a daft blunder on my part, but at least I’ve learned my lesson. Truly appalling that there are people out there resorting to such underhanded tactics. - Number calling: 0151 528 4495

I received a rather dubious call from a chap named Rodger Russell, claiming to represent the Quick Quid Company. He was quite eager to offer me a loan of £1000, but insisted that I first cough up £100 in vouchers as a sort of initiation fee. Then, as if by magic, his associates reduced the ask to a mere £52 - which I promptly declined. Seems like a classic scam, if you ask me. Exercise extreme caution, folks! I've had to switch my bank card because they’ve got hold of all my personal details. - Caller: 01515284495

On the 26th of November, I received a rather dubious call from this outfit concerning a loan, and to my dismay, I fell for their trickery and lost £397 - what a fool I was! The representatives, named Patrick Thompson, Kevin Marshall, and a chap called David, were quite civil, I must say; there was no rudeness or inappropriate remarks, just an insistent chase for my cash! Luckily, some of the vouchers I provided didn’t go through for them, which was a relief, but they persistently keep ringing me to resolve those issues. - Caller location: Milton Keynes.

I've been duped into parting with £345, and now I'm anxiously awaiting a loan from the bank. It's utterly baffling that I let myself get caught up in this mess. How on earth can we put an end to these scammers?

I received a call from the number 01515284495 and ended up shelling out £100 through PayPoint. I feel thoroughly taken advantage of. Is there any chance I can recover my money from them?

Yes, I received a call today from what I thought was a legitimate number. I’ve previously borrowed from Quick Quid, and they’ve always been quite courteous. However, this particular call was from a random number and the bloke on the other end was extremely abusive, throwing around threats of violence against me and my family. Naturally, I was quite shaken by it. So, I decided to contact the actual Quick Quid to report the incident. They were quite appreciative of the heads-up and asked for the phone number. It made me feel a bit more at ease, knowing they would pass the information to the authorities. Just glad I took the right steps! - Caller: Imposter pretending to be Quick Quid.

Yesterday, I found myself in a right kerfuffle when I was charged £150 by a company named Quick Quid. They asserted they could secure me a loan of £1,000, but lo and behold, I never saw a penny of it! Now, when I try to ring them, it’s as if I’m talking to a brick wall. If they happen to get in touch with you, I strongly suggest you hang up!

I've had a rather unpleasant experience with this number, which went so far as to drain funds from my bank account. They claim to be a loan provider, but I would strongly advise anyone receiving a call from them to either ignore it altogether or firmly state that you have no interest. Stay safe!

Had a rather unpleasant experience when I informed Patrick that I wasn’t looking for a loan. He responded with some rather rude remarks. Definitely not the height of politeness. - Caller: Patrick from Quick Quid UK

I had a similar experience myself. The caller wanted to know if I was interested in a loan, but I wasn’t born yesterday. I told him I was onto his little scam, and then he had the audacity to start prying into my personal life, asking how many women I'd been with. Apparently, he thought he was onto something clever- quick quid, I suppose!

These individuals assured us of a loan, only to later claim we needed to pay off £700 to tidy up our credit record. We’ve ended up losing a significant amount, and it feels like we've been taken for a ride. Just here to share my experience, amusing, isn’t it?

I received a rather dubious call from a firm claiming to be Quick Quid, which is a recognised loan provider. I had my reservations since it had been quite a while since I last applied for a loan. I quickly wised up and asked the caller to wait a moment while I looked up the number online. Before I knew it, he hung up on me. I rang back only to be met with a torrent of vulgarities, including inappropriate questions about how much I’d charge for a night's company, among other unpleasant remarks. It was truly appalling! I subsequently contacted the genuine Quick Quid, and they informed me that they’re already aware of this fraudulent operation trying to swindle unsuspecting individuals out of their cash.
