I got totally caught out by these lot, they rang me like 15 times within just a couple of minutes. They kept saying I had to pay a first instalment of £90, then it jumped to £110, then £160 because apparently my tax was too low or something. They put cash into two different accounts separately, and now both are frozen. Tried contacting the numpties, but nothing can be done and even my bank can't unlock the accounts. I really need to figure out how to report these scammers and get my cash back! Now no one will lend me anything and I'm completely stuck.

this lot are a total scam. first they told me my loan got the green light, then asked for £85 up front. after that, they wanted another £130 which i had to borrow from my mum, because they promised i’d get that back. now they’re onto wanting £159. i’m completely lost about what to do next. honestly, don’t trust these people - they’ve wrecked my faith in loan companies completely. i’m feeling proper down, can’t even eat, just want to crash and not wake up for ages.

I would strongly advise steering clear of this company - it’s nothing but a con! I've already filed a report with Action Fraud to help tackle these fraudsters. The more folks who contact them, the bigger the chance we have to put a stop to these scams. Just to share, you can reach Action Fraud at 0300 123 2040; I really hope that information proves useful. I made the mistake of believing their claims about putting funds into my account to sort out my credit rating - it’s ludicrous in hindsight. Also, I’m curious if any of you applied for loans directly through this dodgy outfit or if it was through another platform?

These loan sharks have absolutely ripped off my son’s entire monthly earnings, leaving him in ruins. On top of that, they’re incessantly hounding him with calls, demanding even more cash.

Could anyone shed some light on whether “eeffy loan” is a legitimate loan provider associated with this number? I've been hoodwinked out of £300, and it's left me rather concerned.

I received a rather alarming call from a lady named Jennifer representing Same Day Funds, who proposed a £5,000 loan that could be repaid in monthly instalments. Given my financial situation, I felt compelled to agree. However, they insisted on receiving the initial payment immediately. When I explained I couldn't manage it that day, she questioned if I could do so by the following day. To cut a long story short, I ended up sending them £780 through Western Union, as they assured me that the funds would be credited to my account once the payment was made. It’s been quite a while, and I’m still waiting for the money to appear. When I requested a refund, they mentioned I would need to fork out an additional £150 as a cancellation fee. The caller was from Same Day Funds.

I recently received a phone call from a chap named Robert, and I was in quite a financial predicament, desperately needing a loan. He requested £90 to process my application, assuring me I'd soon receive £1500. But, to my bewilderment, I then got another call asking for £149, which I simply couldn’t manage. I had just managed to scrape together £179 in my account to cover it. Then he insisted I send a photograph of my identification. He promised I'd receive £1300 before 5pm, yet here I am, hours later with nothing in my account. I'm feeling completely frazzled about the personal info I shared. What steps should I take now? - caller: Robert

I received several calls from David, and to be quite frank, his manner was utterly revolting-he spoke to me in a rather inappropriate way. I was absolutely appalled! Each time I terminated the call, he just kept dialling back. It's beyond irritating!
