I tend to steer clear of answering calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Out of curiosity, I decided to return the call and was greeted by a pre-recorded message claiming to be from Financial Justice. Quite frankly, I’m unfamiliar with them, so I’ve chosen to block that number.

I received a rather dubious call from a call centre, insisting that a cheque would be deposited into my bank account in the next fortnight. Honestly, it’s these fraudulent calls that make me hesitant to pick up the phone for numbers I don't recognise. I certainly didn’t get a mobile just to be bombarded with such nonsense. At this point, I’ve got more numbers on my blocked list than actual contacts-absolutely ridiculous!
