The person calling didn’t seem able to answer any of the questions I asked. I mentioned I’d get in touch with my provider myself, and then she just ended the call.

Got a call from some dodgy people claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there was a problem with my computer. Total scam, they wanted to get into my laptop. Hang up and block them straight away. Sounds like one of those foreign call centres doing the rounds.
