Yesterday, on 10th September, I got a call from someone claiming my Microsoft account was compromised. I wasn’t having any of it, especially since I wasn’t expecting the call and didn’t recognise the person. They kept trying for about 15 minutes until they finally gave up and ended the call. The number they gave me was 0344 8002400, saying it was their support line. But when I checked that number later, turns out there’s loads of complaints about similar scams. Just be careful and don’t fall for their tricks.
