Its DRS, they collect debts and buy them from businesses if you owe money. If you’re smart you’ll check it out and see that DR Services dont actually have any legal power, they can take u to civil court but its probs gonna get thrown out cuz court fees are too high, so its pointless for them. So basically just dont bother with calls or letters from DRS. From what I’ve seen, nothing will come of it. Just typical scare tactics.

Non-stop calls and texts telling me I owe money to the DVLA. Apparently, their site says they’re working for the DVLA to collect fines for vehicles that aren’t taxed or not declared off road. But my car is both taxed and MOT’d till next year so this has got to be a scam! I received a rather jumbled voicemail from an automated system - it was one of those messages prompting me to press 2 for something or other. If the number isn’t already saved in my contacts, I simply won’t pick up. Keeps getting texts from a hidden number showing up as DRS about someone called Adam Morley, all marked as spam but O2 haven’t blocked them yet. They’re asking for a debt to be cleared, but want ID right away to open an account - also sent a text. I don’t owe anything to eBay and can’t figure why they’re after me. It seems kinda real though, really pushy and uses a reference number so you can supposedly check your debt and pay it off.

Got calls and texts from some dodgy lot saying I owe money for eBay, which I definitely dont owe! They show up as ‘DRS’ on caller ID, so looks like it might fool people into thinking its their doctor ringing urgently. Watch out for this one!

Dodgy lot. Got a call from this number earlier, the bloke was mumbled so much I barely caught a word. Asked him again what company he was from and still got nothing clear. He kept going on about some discount on my contract but I said I ain’t got any contracts with them. Then he just cut me off.

01513293649 rang me while I was driving home from work. My phone’s antivirus flagged the call as spam and blocked it straight away. I haven’t had any debts for like 15 years, nothing outstanding at all. Plus this number is pretty new to me, only got it a few months ago, and only my wife and daughter have it on purpose. So yeah, definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

+44 151 329 3649 rang me with an automated message from DRS telling me to press 1, 2 or 3. I didn’t press anything and the call just stopped on their end. I’ve sent a report about this number to 7726.

I've been getting texts and calls from DRS that I've blocked and reported already. They keep saying I'm Declan Salter and telling me to pay my ebay bill. I'm not that guy and I've never had an ebay account, so honestly, leave me alone DRS! It's proper harassing!

I've been getting calls and messages from this number non stop. Every time I block one, a different one pops up. I contacted eBay with my phone number asking if they could call me back. I spoke to someone there and they said if I owed them anything they would have sent me an email. They also looked into my account and confirmed I don't owe a penny. Seems like this number is definitely a scam.

hi, i just received a call from this number saying something about an arrest. I’m not involved in any crime and have nothing to do with the police. very confused!

I picked up the call and was greeted with a choice: my name was mentioned, and I could either hit 1 if it was indeed me, or press 2 if it wasn’t. I opted for the latter.

When I asked who they were and why they were calling, the call blocking filter kicked in and they just refused to say anything. Whether they were a real debt collector or not, not telling me who they were made me think it was probably a scam.

Got a call from 0151 329 3649 and now I’m getting emails from someone called DRS saying I owe £18 to eBay. I haven’t bought anything from eBay in ages, like over a year. Honestly, I’m just going to ignore it and maybe reply with a polite ‘please sort out your own business’.

Somebody rang me asking for a guy named Joe. No clue who he is or why they're bothering me. I’ve never had a loan or anything like that. Probably this Joe fella gave out my number by mistake or something. Best just to ignore it, I reckon.
