A lady, hailing from Liverpool, claimed she was ringing on behalf of Direct Response concerning an accident I apparently experienced two and a half years ago. When I probed further about this supposed accident, her reply was, "Oh, a no-fault claim from 2.5 years back." Naturally, I sought clarification, only for her to inform me that was the extent of the data available to her. Upon inquiring about the nature of said database, she abruptly decided to cut the conversation short, stating, "I'll ring you back when you're feeling a bit more amenable," before promptly terminating the call!
