They’re trying to convince you that you've been involved in a car crash and need to file a claim. Absolute nonsense, as I've never been in an accident. As soon as I set the record straight, they abruptly ended the call. I’ve since blocked their number on my phone.

Received a rather unexpected call today, the 29th of July, 2015, from someone in a strong Brummie accent inquiring about a little bump I’d had. They were using my first name, which leads me to think they might have snatched my number from Gumtree. I made it clear that there had been no accident at all and that my details should be removed from their records - I assume it’s some sort of dodgy database! Honestly, I’d suggest just telling them to bugger off if they ring you up!
