Received a call from this chap earlier today, touting all sorts of enticing offers. I'm really chuffed we decided to do a bit of research beforehand. From what I've seen, it's crystal clear that these individuals are likely to try and hit us up with an invoice for absolutely nothing. Total con artists, if you ask me!

The name's Dave Peters, and the number you have is ours. We’re affiliated with Diamond Media, and I'm responsible for publishing the official BFSA journal, as well as several outlets for the police federation.

We've recently received a call from someone who appeared quite official regarding our payment for the BFSA journal. I must emphasise that I've already settled this! This person claimed we hadn't paid the correct company, so we dug out our invoice and rang 0454091338. A lady answered and mentioned she’d be sending us a fax with the relevant fire support documents. Now, we’ll just have to wait and see how that unfolds. As far as I can tell, this company, Diamond Media, is still based in Liverpool. The caller mentioned the magazine should be released by the end of May or early June.

We received a call from a person identifying themselves as Dave Peters, who claimed that our service was the sole one featured in a firefighter magazine for South London for a span of 12 weeks, at a cost of approximately £200. It all seemed rather odd, so we’re grateful we didn’t hand over any money.

Earlier today, we received an unexpected invoice along with a police report linked to Diamond Media, and frankly, we hadn’t asked for either of them. To add to the confusion, the invoice bore no date and reflected an outdated VAT rate-leading us to believe that it might not be legitimate. It seems highly suspicious, so we suspect they might be running some sort of VAT scam. Even more frustrating is the fact that we can't reclaim any VAT from this. We’ve previously advertised in the British Fire Service Journal through a company named Diamond Media (GB) Ltd, which appears to be a different entity, although still based in Liverpool. After considering the experiences shared by others, we're firmly deciding against making any payments.
