Got a call from 01490, said it was from BT and that my line would be disconnected if I didn’t reply - total scam! I spent 40 years working for BT and I know that number’s from Corwen in North Wales. I actually worked at that exchange once, it's a really quiet, rural spot. Honestly, whoever’s behind this scam must be out somewhere on a hill with the sheep, no clue what they’re doing.
