I had a dodgy bloke claiming to be a BT engineer on the phone, saying there was some shady business going on with my line.

Somebody pretending to be BT called me saying there was unusual stuff happening with my internet, obviously a dodgy call so I just ended it. I've gotten calls like this from different numbers but weirdly they all start with the 0149 area code.
