To be frank, I’ve never heard of Onecom before, and I haven’t a clue what a legacy tariff is either. I think I’ll just disregard this altogether. It has all the hallmarks of a phishing scam to me.

I got a text from Onecom saying my tariff had ended and I needed to call right away to avoid higher charges. When I rang, it was just an automated message telling me I was next in line, so I ended the call. This was the second text they sent me.

I've been receiving messages claiming that my Legacy tariff has lapsed... but surely that's not the case, is it?

I just got a message from the number 01489586056 claiming that "my Legacy Tariff has lapsed and I must sort a new tariff for my mobile to prevent higher charges." Apparently, 'Legacy' refers to Virgin, but I'm actually with a different provider altogether. Looks suspiciously like a phishing attempt to me, and I’d advise anyone else to steer clear of it as well.
