I received a call from this number earlier today. As soon as we let the caller know that the person they were trying to reach wasn't available, we patiently waited for a reply. However, after about half an hour, we were met with a rather rude demand, “So, are you going to hang up or what?”

It seems to be quite similar to what others have reported here. Had a call at 10pm on the 6th of June 2008, and there was nothing but silence at the other end. When I rang the number back, they insisted that I provide my details, but all I really wanted was to be removed from their list. What a cheeky move! And to top it off, we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service!

We've received multiple calls from this number, yet there’s never anyone on the line. When someone finally did answer, they asked for us by name and claimed to be experts in providing loans to individuals with poor credit histories. Quite frankly, it feels predatory! We're absolutely livid since we've never borrowed a single penny in our lives. We warned them that we'd be reporting them to the Telephone Preference Service and demanded that they cease all communication. Still, we're being bothered daily with calls where there’s no one at the other end.

Received a call earlier today. The voicemail picked it up, but they didn’t bother leaving any message. Honestly, if they're not capable of communicating their intentions, I see no reason to invest any money in uncovering what they actually wanted! I received a call from this company and they asked for someone who doesn't live here. As soon as I explained that, they promptly hung up on me. Quite rude, if you ask me! This is actually the second time they've done this; both times, the moment they realised they weren't getting the person they wanted, they just cut off the line. We're also listed with the Telephone Preference Service, but it seems that doesn’t bother them at all. You can ring them back to have your number removed through their automated system, but I’m curious to see if that will actually be effective. Fingers crossed!

So annoying to receive calls like this, especially since I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service. I really shouldn't be getting these kinds of calls. Honestly, who would ever agree to a loan over the phone just like that?

We've had two calls from this number, and when we answered one of them, the caller hung up straight away. Normally, I can handle these annoying outfits quite well. But I can't help but think about elderly folks living alone who might feel anxious about such calls. Don't even bother reaching out to BT or the so-called regulators like Ofcom. They're far too preoccupied with their own agendas to bother addressing anything that's not going to line their pockets.
