They manage to get round the T.P.S. list, which is worrying. Loads of folks might get caught out by this con. I’ve already put in a complaint, but they’ve rung me back since. Seriously, do not ring or text them back. You risk more than just your existing service deal here. Also, they never give a name - a classic red flag for a scam.

Just got a dodgy text from this number about some EE upgrade offer for a tablet that apparently ends today. Looks like this scam’s still going around. I've already reported it. Number’s 01489567022 if anyone else gets it.

I just got a text claiming to be from 02 Account Holder saying it's my FINAL OPPORTUNITY to upgrade early and grab a FREE TABLET! They said the offer finishes at 5pm today. The message gave this number 01489567022 to ring, and said to text ONEOPOUT to 87007 if I want to opt out. Terms and conditions apply, apparently. Definitely sounded a bit dodgy. The call came from 01489567022.

I keep getting texts from this firm saying I’m an EE account holder and it’s my LAST CHANCE to UPGRADE EARLY and they’ll give me a FREE TABLET! They claim there are only a few left. The number they want you to ring is 01489 567022. If you want to stop them texting, you can text ONEOPTOUT to 87007. Terms and conditions supposedly apply but the caller is unknown. It’s pretty annoying.
