Is it a dodgy scam or just a bothersome sales tactic? One thing's for certain, my upgrade period is ages away! Honestly, I’d recommend steering clear of any replies; engaging with them will only confirm that my number is still in use and likely escalate the nuisance further.

They're promoting an early upgrade and tossing in a complimentary tablet, but don't be fooled-it's just a ruse!

As an EE account holder, I received a message about an early upgrade that supposedly came with a complimentary tablet. It seemed like a classic first-come, first-served situation. However, I can't shake off the feeling that it might be a scam, especially since the number that messaged me appeared to be linked to a pay-as-you-go plan. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Beware of a scammer impersonating O2! I received a message claiming to be from them, offering an early upgrade with a free tablet for the first lucky callers. They urged me to ring 01489 567019 and also included a text option to opt out. Looks dodgy to me-definitely a fraudulent call! Stay safe, everyone!

Received a message supposedly from O2, but I’m not falling for that one, thank you very much! Haha!

It claims to be from O2, offering an early upgrade with a complimentary tablet-sounds too good to be true if you ask me. They’re saying it’s first come, first served! If anyone’s interested, they’ve left a number to ring: 01489 567019, and if you fancy opting out, just text ONEOPTOUT over to 87007. Terms and conditions, of course, apply. Not for me!

Received a message from them suggesting that an upgrade would entitle me to a complimentary tablet. Quite odd, really, since I'm on a pay-as-you-go plan.

It seems they're attempting to lure people in with a so-called giveaway for a tablet. Starting with the 02 code this time-I'm not keen on picking up the phone. Definitely smells of a scam to me. Cheers, but I’ll pass on this one!

These utterly deceptive individuals ought to be put a stop to immediately... Their trickery is nothing but an elaborate scam!

Received a rather suspicious message promoting upgrades and complimentary tablets, yet it doesn’t seem to be affiliated with my current service provider at all. Quite strange, isn’t it?

Received a message identical to what others are reporting - something about an upgrade from EE. I nearly fell for it, especially since my contract has just run out, and I assumed it might be EE trying to retain me. Pleased I decided to look into it here!

I received a rather dodgy call from a call centre in Bishops Waltham, acting as if they were my mobile provider. They were trying to push all sorts of so-called fantastic offers. I recommend steering clear and blocking the number!

Received a text from this number purporting to be from EE, but it’s clearly a scam. No way would EE use a random number like that to get in touch. Just be cautious, folks!

I just received a message that seemed to be from O2, offering me an early upgrade with a complimentary tablet! They even said it was first come, first served. I was instructed to ring 01489 567019 or text ONEOPTOUT to 87007 if I didn’t want to take part. But when I contacted O2 directly, they had no clue about it. Could this be a scam? I’d steer clear, to be honest.
