I was instructed to dial a particular number in order to obtain my contract information from a website called one .com. It's worth noting that one .com already possesses my contract details. However, I only received this advice from another dubious phone number: 01260591147.

this bloke rang me sayin my bt fees were goin up and all that, i told him to just send me a letter instead. he seemed proper annoyed when i said that! said they’d already sent me one, which obviously never turned up. told him to send another and then he got all moody and just hung up on me.

someone pretending to be from bt (definitely not bt, prob some offcomm scam) calling to push phone line deals and stuff. they said there’s a huge price hike on our bill. barely knew anything about our actual account though and got super aggressive when i tried to hang up. would say steer clear from these people, they’re probably trying to scam you!

Got a call from someone at Onecom saying BT are hiking up their prices but keeping it quiet. The bloke seemed a bit annoyed at me, probably because I was absolutely knackered from a hangover and wasn’t interested in buying pencils off him.

It seems that they are apparently advertising their services due to the upcoming price increase by BT. However, I doubt whether this was their genuine motive. Personally, I intend to block their number.

Today, I received a call from someone named 'Laura' claiming to be from Onecom. She informed me that BT (British Telecom) would be raising our fees by 7%. Laura also indicated that she wanted to review our accounts. To buy some time, I requested that she send me the relevant information via email. Surprisingly, she mentioned that she couldn't send it over. Curiosity piqued, I decided to research the number she provided. I'm relieved to say that I did because wasting my time is something I strongly dislike, and this situation definitely falls into that category!

Today, we received a call from someone who claimed to be able to lower our bills. They had our phone line details and promised a significant reduction in our bill. At first, I thought it might be genuine since BT had contacted us in the past to review our account. However, I became suspicious when the caller asked for our bank details, as BT already has this information. To buy some time, I hesitated and did not provide any information. The person mentioned they will call again tomorrow, but we have decided not to share any further information with them.

Got a ring from onecom, they handle my mobile through vodafone. They called about my company’s landline and broadband. They’re way better with customer service than dealing with vodafone myself, so I’ve let them sort my work phones too. It’s saved me quite a bit of money as well!

I received a phone call from a person named "Jordan" using this number, who claimed to be from BT in regard to our business account. They immediately began asking about our previous bill. When I informed them that our finance manager was currently unavailable, and questioned why they, coming from BT, didn't already know this information, they abruptly stated they would call back and ended the conversation. It is evident that this call was an attempted scam of some sort.

Initially, the caller claimed to represent EE, but quickly changed to claiming to be from their "partner agency" called OneCom. He began discussing a business tariff with me but insisted that I provide him with information first, in order to "satisfy his controller" and determine if I was eligible for their product. I clearly expressed that I had no intention of satisfying his controller nor did I want to engage with a company that calls individuals randomly. The conversation became unpleasant after that. After conducting a quick Google search on the company, I realized that I made the right decision by ending the call as soon as possible.

At the start, they said they were from EE, then quickly switched to saying they were working with their “partner company” Onecom. He tried to chat about a business tariff but needed me to give some details first to “prove to his controller” I qualified for the deal. I told him I wasn’t interested in pleasing his controller or dealing with a firm that cold-called me. He got quite rude after that. I received a phone call from an unidentified woman who did not introduce herself. She immediately asked for my name. Confused, I inquired about her identity and before receiving an answer, she abruptly ended the call. This was the second time I received such a mysterious call on my number.

I received a call on 1st December 2015 on my mobile phone from someone claiming to be from the 3 network. They correctly addressed me by name and asked who was handling the account. I was puzzled as I had no knowledge of any account they were referring to. The caller insisted that they were referring to the mobile number they were calling. It is important to note that this is a contract phone and a colleague of mine has taken it under their name, as my poor credit score prevents me from having a contract myself. However, I highly doubt that the call actually came from the 3 network, as the account is always paid through direct debit and payments have always been made on time. It is quite possible that it was a debt collection agency or even a legal authority such as the police looking to confirm the owner of the phone.

Yesterday, we received a phone call from a certain number. A man named James Stickler claimed to be from BT, which is our service provider. He informed us that our current business tariff was incorrect. However, I found it rather suspicious when he asked for my name and the company's name. I decided to report the incident to BT, only to discover that they have no record of such a person or number. I wanted to warn others about this incident, as although he didn't ask for bank details, I believe he had ulterior motives. I managed to stall him by withholding information and avoiding his questions.
