someone rang me up asking to set up a visit to check my roof insulation. i let them talk for a bit, then as a qualified surveyor myself, i threw a technical question their way. they cut the call straight away. that’s not what i’d expect from a proper company. don’t let these people into your home or on your devices, and definitely don’t share any financial details with them.

The number popped up on my caller ID as “intemational 01489 232198”. Seems like one of those calls where if you don’t say anything, they just put the phone down straight away. I did pick up once and it was some automated message about loft insulation I supposedly had fitted a few months back, saying it might be causing condensation but it wasn’t a problem. I ended the call then and there because I haven’t had any loft insulation done since I moved in over a decade ago!
