I get calls from them nearly every day looking for my husband. Almost always, they threaten to disconnect our BT internet within a day. When I tell them to go ahead since we've never even had BT at our place, they just hang up. But then they call back, sometimes later that same day or the following one. Got a call from someone just now. They asked for me using my name, but I said I couldn’t quite catch what they were saying. Then suddenly they yelled my name out! I told them that’s not me and they must have dialled the wrong number. Ended the call straight away! I’m on the do not call list, so how do these people even have our details?

This number won’t stop ringing - it called me 4 times just in the last 40 minutes alone. I rarely pick up if I don’t know who it is. Got an answerphone set up, so if they don’t leave a message after trying before, I just assume it’s either some scammer or a pest. After checking this number, I can confirm that’s exactly what it is. My phone’s blocked list is already stuffed full with these kinds of calls, mostly scams or annoying cold callers.

Earlier today, I was contacted by a number that had a lot of static. The individual on the line had a foreign accent, which made it challenging to comprehend their message. It is high time that appropriate measures were taken to address the issue of bothersome and unwelcome calls. The individuals at the other end of these calls consistently attempt to deceive you into revealing your bank details, among other things. In my opinion, this is an absolute scam - do these foolish individuals truly believe that I am gullible? I urge the UK government to take swift action and completely eliminate these types of calls. My concern lies with the vulnerable population, particularly innocent pensioners who might unknowingly become victims of such scams.

In the span of just five days, I've received my tenth phone call. On this particular call, they requested to verify my direct debit number, which coincidentally happened to be the same as my bank account number! They insisted that they only needed the last six digits. It struck me as ironic that they identified themselves as representatives from the telephone preference service (TPS), considering their lack of success in blocking these persistent calls. Additionally, it seems that they were already in possession of some of my personal information, including my name and sort code, presumably acquiring the first two digits as well.

They behave quite abhorrently, continuously making phone calls without any regards for your preferences. Apparently, there is no benefit in registering with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), as it doesn't seem to bring about any changes whatsoever. Moreover, when you inform these callers that you are a member of TPS and they are violating the law by contacting you, they simply laugh in response. It's absolutely infuriating! It almost seems like they purposefully single you out for more calls!

They asked me about the expiration date of my direct debit card in order to block any unwanted national or international numbers starting tomorrow. However, when I refused to provide this information, "Jennifer" became extremely angry. I intentionally provoked her a little, which only made her voice louder and filled with anger. She was determined not to give up. Eventually, I decided to end the call.
