Got a call from some call centre claiming I owed £1800 in bank fees linked to PPI. They already knew my address and number, which felt odd. They said I needed to buy an insurance policy and mustn't say I’d spoken to anyone about PPI before. Then they handed me over to another person, probably to grab my bank info. It all sounded fishy, so I hung up. Moments later, I got another call from 01773 860290 - didn’t pick up since I don’t recognise the number or anyone from Ripley, UK.
