Received a rather peculiar phone call earlier today. The chap on the other end had a thick accent and struggled with his English, claiming it was related to my computer. Quite frankly, I didn't have the patience for it, so I told him to jog on and abruptly hung up.

I received a call from this number, which I don't recognise, but I chose not to pick up. They've reached out on a few occasions previously but have never bothered to leave a voicemail. Quite curious, isn't it?

this guy with a strong accent said he was trevor jones from virgin media. he claimed their tech team had flagged loads of problems with my internet. i told him to cut the crap and ended the call. the dodgiest part was when 1471 showed the call came from 01485 962102, a number from hunstanton. but when i tried ringing it back, the number wasn’t recognised. it seems like scammers are using real numbers to trick people who might be less cautious!
