I don’t know who they are, so I’m not answering anymore. Pretty sure it’s sales people. Every time I block one number, they just ring from another one. Best to steer clear and block them straight away. If you’re not expecting anyone, just don’t pick up.

Never share your name or any personal details with them - if they're ringing, they should already have that info. I kept refusing to say who I was and asked them what company they were from and why they were ringing my TPS-listed number, but they just kept dodging it. I told them we were going nowhere and suggested they send a letter instead if they really knew who I was. Definitely not a proper UK call centre number, just someone pretending to be!

Totally with you on this. I wasn’t about to pick up the phone but ended up doing so, and it turned out to be a satisfaction survey for the housing association. Didn’t realise it’s actually a legal requirement these days - bit of a surprise!
