I received a phone call from someone claiming to be associated with a financial services and stock trading firm. I made it clear that I had no inclination towards such matters, yet he persisted, droning on about these so-called "guaranteed profits." His inability to take a hint was rather exasperating. In the end, I decided to block his number; it was simply too overwhelming.

Someone called saying they were with an insurance watchdog, but the moment I asked a few questions they got all defensive. No thanks, blocked!

I rang this number and got an automated message from someone called J Mamner. I've been getting loads of calls like this one from different numbers all with that name.

This bloke was proper cheeky, asked me if we were even speaking the same langauge when I questioned how he got my number. He tried to explain, but it was just a load of nonsense I couldn’t follow. I told him to shove it and then blocked the number. Honestly, don’t bother picking up if you get a call from it.

Got a call around 7pm on 28/10/15 where there was this quick loud beeping noise before a bloke started chatting about stocks and financial stuff. When i told him he’d reached a police station, he just cut off immediately. Not actually a cop myself, just like to mess with these scammers now and then!
