Got a call from a woman overseas claiming to be from citizens advice about some credit card debts. I told her I don't owe anything, and she just ended the call. Honestly, block these people, so annoying!

Some bloke claimed he was a manager at Citizens Advice and said there’s a new government plan that could wipe out my big debts. I played dumb and fired off silly questions for a bit until he lost it and yelled 'stop wasting my time' before slamming the phone down on me!!

Got a call from a woman with an asian accent claiming she was from the Citizens Advice about some debt I supposedly owe. Played along for a few minutes till she figured out I wasn’t falling for it, then she hung up. The same number called me four more times really fast after that, so I just blocked it. Total scammers, as usual!

What a load of rubbish! Some bloke claimed he was from the CAB and said, "We've noticed you've had debts before." I said, "That’s not true, who do you think you’re ringing?" He just hung up straight away. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent who oddly knew my first name. He was claiming that the government was going to clear my debts, which I don’t have any of. When I said I suspected he was a scammer and not actually from Citizens Advice, he started getting quite rude. I ended the call straight away and blocked his number.

Just got another call from this number. The bloke gave me wrong info and I told him I wasnt interested. He got rude so I said I'd call the police to hear his nonsense. Then he started threatening me, saying he knew where I lived and he'd send someone to take my stuff and mess with my mortgage. My husband answered and it turned into a proper argument. Some bloke rang me, saying he was from Citizens Advice in Guildford. When I asked what the call was about, he started trying to frighten me by saying I had a big debt (which I don’t) and that he could assist. I told him my credit report was spotless, so he must have got it wrong - then he just hung up. Total scam. CAB would never contact folks like that.

This bloke from Asia was going on about how he could clear my debts or something, so i just told him to talk to my hubby. Then he got really rude with my husband and wouldn’t listen to either of us. He started swearing, so i grabbed the phone off him and just hung up.

Got a call from this number, some bloke with a foreign accent claiming to be from UK Management for the Government Debt Scheme, calling himself Mark William. When I asked him to remove my details from their records, he went off on one, getting proper rude and arguing non-stop. Before he hung up, he told me to "go to hell"! Tried calling the number back, but it’s not recognised. Honestly, best to avoid answering calls from this or similar numbers unless you’re up for some verbal abuse!

This bloke said he was ringing from the citizens advice. When I corrected him to citizens advice bureau he agreed. I told him cab don’t do calls like this. He then got a bit rude, saying I had loans and the government was wiping them under some new plan, and that my details were picked since I supposedly had two or more loans. I played along for a while and told him he was talking rubbish as cab don’t handle loans. He quickly ended the call.

Picked up the phone and the caller wanted to speak to me by name, so I asked who it was. He said he was Gary from the Citizen's Advice Bureau, but when I asked why I would need their help, he just ended the call! Definitely not legit!
