Got an email that claimed to be from TalkTalk wanting some details about my account to sort out a complaint. The message had a few spelling mistakes and no proper address, which made me doubt it was legit. So, I asked them for a phone number to double-check, and they sent me this number. After seeing what others have said, I’m not gonna ring it back.

Got a call earlier claiming to be from TalkTalk tech support, saying there were issues with my internet. They kept asking about my devices but I didn’t say anything. Then suddenly they wanted my mobile number! When I asked why, they put me through to some ‘supervisor’ who just kept pressing for info but gave no reason. I asked what number they were ringing from and the line was cut straight away!
