Got two calls from this number on my phone, which I hardly share with anyone. Looks like it’s from Hull or somewhere, but I don’t know anyone from there. Some folks mentioned it might be O2 - I’m with O2 too, but they usually say who they are and call from a free number like 0800. This one came up as private, so not convinced it’s them. I’ll just block it and move on. Cheers to everyone who shared their experiences, really helped me out.

I put this number on block last week, so when they ring now my phone stays silent, but I can still see the calls in my call history. Since I blocked them, they’ve called me another FIVE times! Guess they really don’t give up, do they? Haha!

I didn’t pick up since the number showed Kingston Upon Hull and I don’t know anyone there. From what others have said, looks like it’s a call centre, possibly one of those O2 Florida holiday scams? Funny thing is, just a few mins before I had to shut down another call from a different number about joining some Euro Lottery group. Could be a coincidence, or maybe not.

They ring me every single day trying to sell a discounted holiday in Florida, saying I've been with them before! Yeah, that was ages ago, like 2002! It's always the same American accent and caller name. I've blocked the number loads of times, but they just call back the next day from the exact same number. I've just recently lost my husband and had his funeral a few days ago, so this constant calling is really upsetting me. I honestly don’t know what else to do to get them to stop!

I picked up this call and instantly wished I hadn’t. It was some bloke from BT who just wouldn’t back down, no matter how many times I said no. It took him about ten minutes before he finally gave up, even though I made it clear right from the start I wasn’t interested. Honestly, the only thing that worked was flat out turning down everything he said to get him to quit ringing.
