Got a really rude call, the guy wanted to speak to the MD. When I said they weren’t in, he said his name was Tom Clarke but claimed he wasn’t representing any company??? What’s the point then? Today, on 09/06/25, I got a call from the number 01482680403. The caller claimed to be with Northants Police and said there was a complaint about noise back in March 2025. She mentioned some sort of code, "Hull," but I wasn’t sure what that was about. I hadn’t heard anything about this noise issue, and she refused to give her name when I asked. I ended up blocking the number.

Told them straight I dont have Amazon Prime, dont do online banking and they dont even have my number. Then she got proper cheeky and said she’ll take money from my account. A while back, my details got caught up in the TALK TALK data leak and I’ve had a dodgy phone call before claiming my router had issues. 01482 293978 has been ringing my phone quite a few times lately. Each time I answer, nobody talks. The calls are so short that I usually just pick up as they hang up straight away. Tonight I decided to call back, just in case. An answering machine came on saying it was Sky and that nobody was available right now, with office hours from 11am to 8pm. I’m not a Sky customer, so I’m guessing it’s just some sales call or telemarketing scam.

Once I picked up, they told me to wait and someone came on the line talking so fast I couldn’t understand anything. I told them I’m deaf and they should text me instead if they want to say something. 01482 849319 This number is linked to some dodgy IT scammers from India. They usually say they're from BT and claim there’s an issue with your internet or that your router is showing faults. Don’t believe it, they’re just trying to get access to your computer or bank info so they can charge you for fixing a problem that’s not real. Best thing to do is simply hang up straight away. If you know anyone who isn’t too tech-savvy, warn them about this too.
