Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up, said he was from BT and had been watching my internet for weeks or something like that... loads of rubbish. I told him to quit it and that I knew he wasn't really from BT. So, I gave BT a ring myself and they told me straight - it’s a scam, they don’t keep an eye on your broadband unless you’ve reported a problem, and even then, only until it’s fixed.
