I’ve contacted Energy Scotland loads of times asking them to take my number off their list but no luck. I’ve also reported it to the TPS who said they’ve told Energy Scotland to remove me and block my number, but the calls just don’t stop! Nearly 150 calls in 18 months since I got this number. They ring every single day, from early morning till late evening. It’s proper annoying and needs to be dealt with. I’m totally fed up! When you actually answer, they’re really rude and act like they know the law, but they clearly don’t. Proper muppets.

Beware of this outfit claiming to be based in Scotland that seems to be peddling some sort of boiler. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of them! They are NOT The Energy Savings Advice Centre. The genuine TESAC, located in Manchester, operates on the right side of the law and does not bombard people with unsolicited calls, especially not those who have registered with the TPS. This particular company, however, is going against the grain, so exercise caution!

I've just received my second call in a fortnight, this time from someone with a discernible Scottish central belt twang. The number came up cloaked in a local area code, which seems a bit dodgy. It wouldn’t surprise me if they attempt to use your name during the spiel.
