This woman called Kirsty claiming to be from Home Energy Centre. I said, “Oh great, you lot again!” She said she hadn’t called me before, but I told her I’ve had loads of calls from that company. Then she started asking if I knew about government grants for heating and insulation. I said yes, I was aware. Next, she asked if I knew what the grants actually cover, and I told her if I wanted to know more I’d look it up myself. She just ended the call after that.

Got a random call off this number about getting a quote for a new boiler. The guy sounded alright and was just trying to sort a deal out. He didn’t come across as dodgy, actually polite and quite thoughtful.

They keep ringing non stop, I just hang up. I figured it's one of them automated caller ID dodges, but the moment you pick up they seem to know your line is live and then blow up your phone. Like some folks here, I ended up answering because it looked like a local area code.

Keeps getting calls about Home Energy stuff, what a bloody nuisance! It feels like outright harassment. I've moaned to Jersey Telecon but they act like they’ve no clue what I’m on about. Told them loads of times to quit bothering me but they just don’t listen. Reported them again to the TPS but they don’t seem to do anything. Proper rude and cheeky people.

Got another annoying call from that Home Energy Advice Centre, claiming they can help with discounted heating upgrades for my new place, which already has the most modern heating installed. Honestly, Nicola Sturgeon needs to shut down this outfit if they keep pestering folks across Scotland.

Got a call this evening around 6.30 saying there were government grants to help with electricity bills. Just another annoying spam call, really.

Home energy Advice Centre called again, these lot just dont get the message no matter how many times ive told them to bugger off. I also got in touch with Jersey Telecom but they said they dont know anything about it. Ive reported every single call from HEAC to TPS but it looks like it aint doing any good!

This number from the home energy centre keeps ringing me nearly every day even tho I've told them quite clearly to stop. I've found out they're linked to Jersey Telecom, so I've written a complaint to their chairman. It’d be great if other people did the same - maybe if enough of us bother them, something will change. They pester us all the time, so it’s about time we turned the tables and flooded them with complaints instead.

they hung up before i even got to say hello! since it was a local number i tried calling back, but then i got a message saying this number can't take calls or leave voicemails? sounds like a total scam to me, and i really hope it’s not one of those dodgy ones that ends up routing you to some pricey overseas line!

got three calls from these lot today. they dont even bother to talk, just leave some recorded message about home energy advice centre, saying they missed me but will ring again. it’s so annoying, always cutting into what i’m doing. honestly, a total nuisance. i see their constant pestering as harassment. ive reported them to the tps - but they dont seem to do much - and plan to report to the ico too. sometimes i wonder if the police should step in, cause this kind of ongoing hassle feels like criminal intimidation.

I always report them to the tps but they dont seem to do much about it. honestly proper annoying, they use pushy tactics and dont care about being told to leave me alone. absolute nightmare.

Got a clearly robotic call that began speaking right before my voicemail picked up. The bits I caught on my answerphone sounded a bit threatening, like “starting legal action against you, to speak with your case worker press 1.” Needless to say, I didn’t bother replying.

answered it since the area code looked familiar. no one spoke. our phone numbers begin with 01463 and then usually either a 7 or 2 and 5 more digits, never a 6. probably some sort of scam or an unwanted sales call.
