I had an unexpected and somewhat intrusive call from this number, where the person on the other end was keen to discuss a new boiler estimate. He came across as quite pleasant, and I got the impression he was just hoping to secure a sale. He didn’t seem dodgy at all; in fact, he was very courteous and attentive throughout our chat.

Some chap calling himself from the Home Energy Centre or something similar rang me up earlier. He asked how I was doing, and I told him I was rather tired of these pesky calls. I wished him well and promptly ended the conversation.

Had a rather unexpected call from a Scottish lady with a rather gravelly voice, claiming to be from Home Energy, in search of a Mr. Henderson. I had to inform her that there’s definitely no Mr. Henderson residing here, and there never has been. The call didn't last long after that!

I received a call today at 14:03 from a rather hoarse lady speaking with a Scottish twang. I honestly couldn’t be bothered to engage, so I simply told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

This number keeps ringing incessantly and every time I pick up, they hang up. Initially, I thought it was just some calls coming from a random number generator. But it seems like the moment they realise the line is actually answered, they bombard me with a flood of calls. Like many others, I was curious when I saw the familiar local dialing code, but now I regret it!

I've received yet another bothersome call from the so-called Home Energy Advice Centre, claiming to provide subsidised heating upgrades for my practically brand new house, which is already decked out with the most modern heating technology. It's high time Nicola Sturgeon steps in and shuts down this firm operating here in Scotland.

Received a phone call this evening around half past six, claiming that there are government grants to assist with energy bills. Just yet another irritating nuisance call that I could have done without.

Just received another annoying call from those buffoons at the Home Energy Advice Centre. I've made it crystal clear to them multiple times to cease their calls! I even reached out to Jersey Telecom, but they claim they have no idea what's going on. Every time I get one of these nuisance calls from HEAC, I report it to the Telephone Preference Service, but it appears to be utterly pointless!

I received a call from this number, but they disconnected before I could pick up! Since it was a local prefix, I decided to return the call, only to be met with a message indicating that the line doesn't accept incoming calls or allow voicemails. It seems like yet another dodgy scheme to me. I'm really hoping these sneaky blokes aren't trying to funnel you into some pricy international line!

Received yet another bothersome call today! It came from a number with an Inverness area code—do they actually reside in our neck of the woods? I find these updates incredibly helpful in shining a light on this nonsense. Keep up the fantastic work, everyone!

I received what was clearly a robocall that launched straight into a message before my answerphone even had the chance to kick in. The snippets I caught on the machine were rather intimidating, mentioning something about pursuing legal action against me. Then it went on to say, "To speak with your case officer, press 1." Not a chance I’ll be pressing anything!

Received a rather peculiar voicemail that lasted a mere three seconds, filled with what seemed to be the usual hubbub of a call centre. Quite baffling, really!

I answered the phone as it had a local area code, but there was no one on the other end. Our number begins with 01463, followed by either a 7 or a 2, and then five other digits. I can confirm it’s not a 6 at the start. Seems like just another cold call or perhaps a scammer trying their luck!

I picked up the phone, only to be greeted by someone asking for the last tenant of my house, someone who’s been pushing up daisies for over 17 years! When I requested he take my number off his list, the cheeky chap went and called me “an utter numpty,” complete with a thick southern Scottish brogue. Quite the experience!

I’ve been receiving calls from this number every day around midday, yet whenever I answer, there's no one on the other end. They don't leave a voicemail either. Quite annoying, really!

These persistent callers just won’t take a hint! It’s a local number from Inverness that rings me up, at times as much as three times a day! I’ve taken to not picking up, but I leave the line connected so they can rack up the charges. Clever little tactic, if you ask me!
