He gave his name as Alex and insisted he wasn’t selling anything. Mentioned some government insulation programme, but as soon as I asked which company he was with, he just ended the call. Bit worrying, that.

Got a dodgy call about some “government backed” insulation supposedly installed in my attic. Only problem is, I don’t even have an attic! I humoured them for a bit, asked what firm they were with and how they got hold of our ex-directory number. As soon as I questioned that, they just hung up on me.
