I didn't pick up the last call but judging by what others have said, it sounds like it was the RAC. I used to be a member and my renewal was due around this time. RAC - I cancelled my cover but they still charged me anyway. Told my bank to reverse the payment, but RAC insisted I didn’t cancel properly - even though I spent ages on the phone with them. Honestly, their sales tactics are really dodgy and I’m planning to take this to the ombudsman. This is just ridiculous, all they seem to care about is making money and blocking customers at every step. If I say no, that should be the end of it!

RAC renewals have been driving me mad. I cancelled my membership not long ago, but they keep calling me twice every day. The weird thing is when I answer, there's just silence on the other end!
