The RAC caller was quite pushy. He kept insisting we had to get extra breakdown cover if we used the car for work purposes. It wasn’t about our motor insurance but the breakdown plan. It's the RAC, and honestly, it feels a bit like harassment. They are really persistent, constantly ringing you up to remind you about renewing their service. Someone claiming to be from the RAC said there was an issue with my direct debit but claimed their "system" was down and they'd ring back in 10 minutes. BE CAREFUL, they actually keep the line open after seeming to hang up so they can pretend to be your bank if you try to check their fake story. It's all a trick to get your personal info. SCAM ALERT! Someone said they were from RAC and told me my card details were wrong, so I stupidly gave them the new info. Luckily, my account was empty so the payment never went through.
