Today, I received a call on my mobile from a lady presenting a strong Indian accent, using an unfamiliar number. She claimed to represent TalkTalk and insisted that she needed to access my computer to investigate issues with my broadband. I calmly denied her request, ended the conversation, and immediately looked up the number online. Lo and behold, it turns out I’ve stumbled upon a scam! I feel rather fortunate to have sidestepped that tricky situation.

Got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk, telling me my internet had viruses. The funny thing is, I’m not even a TalkTalk customer! Proper dodgy call if you ask me.
