I've received calls from the number 01446398004, and I have a sneaking suspicion it’s a scam. They keep mentioning some alleged charge on my credit card. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I received a call myself, and there was an excessive amount of noise in the background before they abruptly disconnected. I'm in the process of blocking the number and lodging a report.

I received a call from a woman with an American accent, tinged with an Asian influence. I found myself having to inquire three times about the identity of the person she was attempting to reach, as I just couldn't make out what she was saying. Eventually, she just hung up on me. I've now decided to block the number.

Didn't pick up, but I found it a bit strange that a call was coming from Wales all the way up near Scotland. For a moment, I assumed it was one of my relatives, but it wasn’t. So I looked it up to see if anyone else had experienced the same thing.

Got a call from a Barry number, but I reckon it’s not actually local. It showed up as maybe some kind of scam. Honestly, best to just ignore it, folks.

got three calls today from "02", each time using different phone numbers, all trying to sell me some 40% off deal. I told the bloke I’d checked with O2 and they’re not running any offers like that right now. Then he started saying he wasn’t actually O2 but just working for them. When I asked him to tell me my surname to prove who he was, he just said “It’s not my job to prove who I am, you need to prove who you are.” Told him to jog on, the same as the others, and made sure to say it loud enough for him to hear!

I decided not to pick up even though I’d already put up a negative review about Currys/Carphone Warehouse before. Looks like a bunch of others have mentioned them too. In my review I made it clear I didn’t want them calling me, yet here they are...

Received a dodgy call the other day. I've noticed this number has been flagged on various 'who called me' sites numerous times lately. When I answered, there was a racket in the background, making it impossible to catch what the chap was blabbering on about. Just as I started to get suspicious, my phone chimed in with a warning about it being a scam. So, I promptly hung up and have now blocked the number.

I received a rather questionable phone call just recently, and I can't tell you how vexing it was! I kept inquiring repeatedly who they were trying to reach, yet they completely bypassed my question. Instead, they had the audacity to mention they were searching for "attractive young women." Can you believe that? In response, I warned them that I would involve the authorities, but it seems they are utterly unfazed by the thought of any legal repercussions. It's quite alarming, really. And to top it all off, they always have that same unmistakable accent - sounds like it’s either from India or Pakistan. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

I have no clue who it was, but they called me about 5 times back to back. I just didn’t bother answering since I don’t recognise the number or the area. Seems like one of those automated diallers to me. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call pretending to be from Three, pushing the iPhone 14 deal for £40 a month including all sorts of extras. I told them to send the details by email since I’m already with Three, but they said they couldn’t get my email and kept trying to keep me on the line. I ended up hanging up, but they rang me back a couple more times from another number. Definitely steer clear of these lot!

My phone showed "spam call" and when I picked up, the line just went dead straight away, so no doubt it was a spam caller. Yesterday I got a call from a number like that too, some bloke asking about my internet provider but he hung up right after and it was a private number, so I just blocked it.

I normally just ignore calls like that and didn’t pick up this time either. They didn’t leave any voicemail. Most likely just another bogus number used by some scammer, maybe the same one as before.

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t know, and this time they didn’t leave any voicemail either. I noticed a few missed calls from the same number on my phone, so I tried searching it online to see who it might be before ringing back, but couldn’t find anything at all.

I got a call from someone selling cleaning gadgets, but I just said no thanks since they were way too pricey. Maybe I'd consider buying if the price was a bit lower.
