The bloke on the line had a Mancunian accent and said he was from "Speed in Manchester." He didn’t give me any info about the accident he mentioned. He claimed he was following up on an accident claim after supposedly getting my details from some accident database. I told him straight up I hadn’t been in any accident and certainly never made a claim. When I suggested his firm might have the wrong number or been given mine by mistake, he said that was impossible.
