I switched my supplier from EON earlier today and had just finished chatting with them on WhatsApp to check my credit balance. Then, out of nowhere, this number called me and as soon as I picked up, the call was immediately cut off. Strange timing, right?

Yesterday I rang EON because I recently got a place that’s connected with them. Just a bit ago, I got a call from this number but didn’t answer it. After reading what others have said about this number being connected to EON, I’m feeling a bit worried now.

I switched over to British Gas from E-on just yesterday and already got a couple of calls today. The first was to my landline, and right after I picked up it just went silent. Then my phone rang again on my mobile, and the same thing happened - calls ended as soon as I answered. Strange!

Somebody rang saying they were from Eon and actually knew my name, but they asked to double-check my address since I’d just asked to switch houses recently. I’m not convinced it was legit though.

This number got in touch with me after I decided to switch my energy supply from EonNext over to British Gas. Later on, there was another call that just went straight to voicemail, but I could hear people talking in the background, no message left for me tho. Usually, unexpected calls like this make me think it might be some scam, so watch out!

I’ve been getting a few calls from this number right around the time I switched my energy provider from EonNext. Haven’t picked up, and no voicemail left either.

I just left this number ring on my mobile, figuring I'd not answer. Then it started ringing my landline soon after. When I picked up the voicemail, all I got was nonstop music. The call wouldn't end the usual way, had to actually pull the battery out to get it to stop. I'm also thinking of ditching Eon over this. Feels like they're up to no good, honestly.

Got a call from a number in Pontypridd, some guy who sounded Asian claiming he was with Eon-Next. He kept saying he wanted to switch me to Ovo Energy. I told him, “You’re not really from Eon-Next, right? Why would they try moving me to a competitor?” He tried to say there was a request to switch my account, but I quickly shot back, “No request from me, so I’m hanging up.” Ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Definitely one of those dodgy scam calls!

This call felt like a really well-done scam. They say they're from Eon, but the whole thing sounds fishy if you look closely. Best to just hang up and not engage. I seriously think someone from inside Eon is feeding these scammers info about vulnerable customers. Avoid any talk with them, it’s not worth the risk.

They rang me once more today, even though I told them to take me off their list. Sounds like it’s the e.on link company, as others have mentioned. I tried picking up but they cut the call right away. I just shut down my mum’s account with them, but I still have one open, so I’m not sure why they’re bothering me. After reading some of these reviews, I’m tempted to change my provider 😏

They kept pushing even after I said they couldn’t beat that deal. Tried to make me go through their tariff details but I just ended the call. I’ve been getting calls from this number like 5 times every single day. I think it’s because I recently stopped my energy contract with Eon. When I answered once, all I could hear was a lot of noise in the background before they just cut the call.

Got a missed call from Eon but decided to switch providers. Their standing charges were 62.5p for electricity and 31.5p for gas, which seemed steep. Plus, they wouldn’t give me an off-peak EV rate unless I bought one of their chargers, even tho I've already got a Pod Point fitted. Ended up moving to British Gas - their standing charges are lower, 51.4p for electricity and 19p for gas, with off-peak EV rates at 7.9p. Do the maths yourself; if Eon won’t adjust their prices to match others, why bother staying?
