Got a call from some bloke saying he was from EON about my energy meter, but it was a dodgy landline number. I’m actually on the TPS so they really shouldn’t be allowed to ring me. Feels like they’re breaking the rules, these scam calls need to be stopped ASAP. Don’t pick up if this number rings you!

Got a call from some young bloke with a dreadful attempt at an Irish accent, said his name was Ralph and asked for me by name. Claimed he was ringing from Eon Next but his words were so mumbled and lazy I couldn't catch half of it. When I told him I couldn't make out what he was saying, he just hung up on me! If he’d just spoken properly, I might have understood - seems like a dodgy scammer who gave up when he didn’t get what he wanted.

Got a weird call claiming to be from my energy provider, which it definitely wasn’t. I hung up straight away. These calls are such a pain, especially when you’re waiting for something really important.

For the past few weeks, this number has been calling us almost every day, but this week they've upped it to twice a day. They're supposedly ringing about smart meters, even though our supplier is aware we’re not interested. The worst part is they call late at night and it wakes us up. We’re definitely on the TPS list.

Another one of those scam calls again! They keep coming nearly every day. Most times when I answer, no one talks, it’s just silence. It’s super frustrating and stressful having to keep picking up the phone just to get nothing, especially when I’m trying to work. Now I just say 'Hello' instead of giving out my name or any details.

Got a call from 01443 544971, I think it’s from Pontypridd? Turns out its some dodgy Eon Next smart meter scam. I’ve put the number on block but they still sneak in a voicemail which is annoying. I’ve emailed Eon Next to warn them a couple times but don’t expect much action tbh. If you’re not used to this number, just ignore and block it. And if you actually want a smart meter, make sure to call your energy supplier yourself - no random calls!

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise and it was from somewhere I’ve never heard of before. I didn’t pick up, but as soon as it went to my voicemail, they hung up straight away. Weird!

Same old story, another #### or some dodgy Rubber Boat crook who’s just landed after crossing the Channel, probably looking to nick more of our hard-earned cash from the UK taxpayers. Best thing is to just block their number and hope the lot of them never make it ashore. The government clearly wants them here, probably cos they’re just as dodgy and corrupt themselves.
