Just got a follow-up message reminding me, "Hello, we've tried to reach you regarding your meter upgrade. It’s no longer functioning properly and requires replacement. Kindly get in touch with us at 01443544985. Cheers, E.ON Next."

This number has been ringing me every couple of days at different hours. Luckily, my scam detection settings managed to intercept the call before I could pick up.
