Got a call saying it was from BT/EE but I'm pretty sure it's a scam. I actually work for them and that number isn’t one we use at all. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call from 01438 98 9233, they claimed they were BT but actually it was a firm named Voiceflex. The lady with a clear English accent asked for my name and said she was from BT. I didn’t say anything at first but then told her she’s not BT. She insisted they were. I told her I’d ring BT to check if they’d contacted me, then she just put the phone down. The call seemed to come from a Stevenage number.

Sounds like a scam to me. The caller claimed to be from BT in Hertfordshire, trying to offer a "better deal" on my BT broadband. I told him I was tied up and couldn’t chat then, asked him to send the details in writing instead. He didn’t seem too happy about that! Quite dodgy if you ask me.

This number has been ringing me a bunch over the last week. I finally picked up today, and a woman was on the line claiming she needed to discuss my broadband deal coming to an end soon. When I asked for the exact expiry date, she said she couldn’t say without me answering some security questions first. Since I knew I still had a whole year left on my contract, I just kindly ended the call.

Our BT landline got a call from this number twice now, once yesterday and again today. Weird thing is, the first three digits show a tiny "BT" next to them. When I picked up and said hello, they just hung up straight away. Definitely looks like some kind of scam to me.
