Got a call claiming to be from "telephone preference," but the bloke was really hard to make out, so I just ended up putting the phone down.

Yesterday they rang while I wasn’t home, so I checked this site for some details. Today they called again, and a woman claimed to be from British Telecom. Before she could say more, I just said “Thanks, no thanks” and ended the call straight away.

some guy with an asian accent called me, his english was really bad. he claimed to be from the telephone preference service and asked if i got any annoying calls. he said he could help block them from the uk and other countries. then he wanted my personal info. sounded dodgy to me so i just ended the call and later reported it to tps.
