some bloke rang saying he was from bt’s telephone preference service offering to stop all the rubbish calls i keep getting (yeah right, since he rang me i’m still getting them). he asked me for my mastercard’s expiry date to ‘confirm’ my identity. i told him there’s no way he should have my card info. he just ended the call.

Someone called me pretending to be from the phone company, asking for my personal details. Was pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Some bloke rang up saying he was from BT’s telephone preference thingy, telling me he’d put a stop to all me nuisance calls (yeah right, considering I’m still getting loads). Then he asked for my Mastercard expiry date to “confirm” who I was. I told him there was no way I’m giving out my card info for that, and he just ended the call.
