This bloke was really pushy and couldn’t handle the questions I threw at him. He kept trying to push some update or something, but as soon as I told him I didn’t have a laptop or a computer, he just hung up on me. Proper weird call!

Some bloke called Bryan claiming to be from BT and said he needed remote access to sort out my internet. Thing is, I’m with Virgin, not BT, so I played along for a bit, pretending to press keys. It was a slow day at work, so why not? When that didn’t do the trick, he told me to visit some website and punch in a code to download his “fix” software - no thanks, I’m perfectly capable of ruining my own bank balance without help! If I ran into any problems, he said to ring him back on 01438 940164, but the caller ID showed 01259 212979 instead. I made sure to note that number down too.
